In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is hearing my mom play Mexican classics while we cleaned the house. By middle school, I was deep into Eminem and 50 Cent, and by high school, I fell in love with Texas music, writing lyrics at my grandma’s house.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World Nipsey Hussle, Victory Lap Starlito, Mental Warfare Starlito is one of my favorite rappers—real rap, no gimmicks. 2Pac always told his truth and had a message. I bought Victory Lap for a trip to Texas with my mom to see my grandma before she passed—it hit different and stayed with me ever since.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Save Me Now” Save Me Now came from a real place. I was vibin’ with a new UAD plugin, and the beat just brought out what I was feelin’ in the moment. It’s one of them songs people can relate to—real life, no cap.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments was traveling to events, meeting dope people, and connecting with artists I looked up to like Berner and Starlito. Those moments reminded me I belong in this game. It’s motivation every time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’m just getting started, for real. I still want to travel to Japan, drop a documentary, write a book, and start vlogging more. There’s so much I want to share—not just music, but the whole journey.
