About Johnny Cocoa
Artist Biography
Promoting unity, this peace-loving, Beaumont, Texas-raised rapper fuses hip-hop and R&B while pushing his charismatic and singing voice to the fore. By 2017, Caleb Green was wholly focused on a music career, self-releasing the slick and smooth single "Peanut Butter" as Johnny Cocoa. 2018's Taylor King-produced "Hustler's Heart" was comparatively minimalist and pared down. His debut EP, 2021's To the World, included "Letters from Itachi," a composition inspired by his favorite manga series Naruto. 2022's "On God" ultimately became his signature song and was streamed over two million times by the end of that year. A nine-track EP, I Am Who I Am, was followed by a Chopped & Screwed version in early 2023 with OG Ron C at the helm.
