Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At the age of 5, I experienced my first live TV performance through a local public access station in Prince Albert - the closest city to my secluded childhood village. I didn't actually play a single note. I just stared at the lights and cameras.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chilly Gonzales, Solo Piano II Chilly Gonzales, Solo Piano Instrumental Elliott Jack Sansom, Finding Beauty The first time that I heard Othello by Chilly Gonzales, I was hooked. A student of mine had come in and wanted to learn the piece, and I couldn't help but see my own reflection in his work. My friend Elliott Jacqués is a timeless genius.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Heart In the Right Place” I'll never forget this improvised piece that I recorded with my significant other a few meters away on my studio couch. Our romance was new, it was morning, and she asked me what I do. I sat her down, hit the red button, and captured the moment.
