In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing my Grandma Del perform at church. She sang “Lord you are Good” and made a cd record of it. It truly touched my heart. From the lyrics to the beat. I also went with her to a studio to see her record an album Songs of Healing-Songs of Life
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Summer Walker, Still Over It Tink, Hopeless Romantic First I wanna say I love a lot more albums… But since I have to narrow it down. I put these three because I remember how these albums helped me to grow as a person. Rated R’s last song, Hopeless Romantic’s Never, and Still Over its Reciprocate.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Why (feat. Mo Money)” “Why” is important to me because I shared the tender parts of my heart in it, and for the ones who know me personally I tend to make people believe nothing really affects me. In this song I was confident in my pain. I used it. l learned from it…
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Going to the studio at night lol. It’s a way different vibe when the sun isn’t out. More than freaks come out at night. Hahaha
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to work with everyone who inspired me to pick up the pen. I remember asking my mom if she believed I could actually follow this dream of mine and she told me with her whole heart and with a smile I could. Rest in peace tada
