In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of the first shows that I remember my dad taking us to as a child was a Charlie Daniels show in a K-Mart parking lot in North Dakota haha. I was blown away by it! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill (Remastered)
Fleetwood Mac, Fleetwood Mac (Deluxe)
Tedeschi Trucks Band, Made Up Mind
There are only a handful of albums I can honestly say I love all the songs to, and these are those! Each one serves a different vibe/genre and emotion for me. As a singer I love albums that have good melodies to belt and good lyrics to connect to. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Screaming Eagles”
This is the most personal song I have ever written. It's written about my grandfather Paul Teator who was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne in WW2. The verses are the letters that he wrote home during war. Its raw and emotional and just so real. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
It's hard to answer this one, because there have been so many good moments. I would have to say the most memorable moment was when I was invited to sing my song "Screaming Eagles" at the 80th anniversary military ball for all the screaming eagles. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to play Red Rocks and the Ryman Auditorium. Most people have this as their bucket list venue for a reason... They are both just magical places!
