In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Age 5, two records by The Ventures in my folks record collection. Dad routinely put those records on to keep me and my siblings occupied. I fell in Love with the sounds of their guitars. Age 5, I heard The Beatles on a local AM radio station.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beatles, Revolver (2022 Mix) The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Deluxe Edition) 2017 Remix & Remaster The Beatles, The Beatles 1962-1966 (The Red Album) I wore my Beatle records out growing up. I had them all!! While it's hard to pick a favorite, Revolver and Sgt Peppers will always stand out as masterpieces. I remember when The Beatles 1962-1966 came out. Absolutely Loved that mix of songs!!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Send Us an Angel” Send us An Angel was written to read like a timeless prayer. Heard the whole thing all at once in my head. I created the string arrangement on my guitar, cello parts and violin parts. It was a pleasure to write and record.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was asked to write a song for my high school graduating class. I performed the original song at our commencement ceremony. Huge moment in my life!! Later in life I would get to perform with members of The Ventures, Santana, Heart, and Alan White
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of my all time favorite guitarists/songwriters is Mike Campbell of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. That would be the frosting on my career cake to jam with Mike.
