Jeckyll & Hyde are a jumpstyle duo comprised of Dutch electronica producers Maarten Vorwerk and Ruud van Ijperen, also known as Ruthless & Vorwerk, among many other monikers. The duo made their debut as Jeckyll & Hyde in 2005 with "Precious Dreamer." "Frozen Flame" became a breakthrough hit in 2006, reaching number ten on the Dutch singles chart. The follow-up single, "Freefall," was similarly fashioned and proved even more successful, topping the Dutch singles chart (indeed, it was the first wholly instrumental song to do so since 1989). In addition, Jeckyll & Hyde also released a full-length album, The Album (2007), which went Top Ten, and another single, "Time Flies," which went Top 20. ~ Jason Birchmeier
