In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is headlining my grade 6 talent show with "Stronger" by Kanye West. I was nervous performing in front of a crowd, but the energy gave me a glimpse of my future in music, solidifying my passion for pursuing it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Views Future, DS2 (Deluxe) Travis Scott, ASTROWORLD My top three albums are "Astroworld" by Travis Scott, "DS2" by Future, and "Views" by Drake. Each shaped my teenage years: "DS2" introduced me to trap sound, "Astroworld" inspired my creativity, and "Views" showed me what it takes to succeed in music
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Limits” One of my favorite songs is Limits—it marked a turning point early in my career where I found the style of JD. Everything clicked with this track, and I felt like I’d finally captured my own sound and identity.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Breakout Festival, one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in my hometown. Sharing the stage with some of my idols and feeling the energy of the crowd was surreal
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I will headline Rolling Loud, sell out Rogers Arena in Vancouver, and ensure my family, friends, and team can live the lives they've always dreamed of. I will become a household name and inspire and mentor the next generation of artists.
