Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I got to perform a poem in a musical form. It was when i was in elementary school, i had to opportunity to perform a traditional poem and i did that in a musical form. It is an Iconic and memorable moment for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Rema, HEIS Roddy Ricch, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial Wizkid, Made In Lagos I feel like ‘Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial’ is the most complete Rap Album ever made. I believe ‘Made In Lagos’ is the album that actually put Afrobeats on the Global Map. Rema’s ‘HEIS’ shows so much versatility.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “MY BROTHER” This song is based on true events. A classic story of friendship and betrayal. Expression has never been my strong suit, especially in situations like this, so I tried to talk about it the only way I know, through my music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My very first TV interview in Ogun State. It’s memorable because i delivered beyond expectation. I had practised and when i got on set, i spoke differently and freely than i thought. It made me understand that ‘My Music is what i live for”.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am still looking forward to the future. I want to be heard all over the world and to be able to tell my story through my music. I know there are a lot of people out there like me who wants to be heard too so i am happy to be the mouthpiece.
