Vocalist/actress Jasmine V makes R&B-influenced, dance-oriented pop music. Born Jasmine Marie Villegas in 1993 in San Jose, California, Villegas began acting as a child, appearing in various commercials and TV shows, including such Disney Channel productions as That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. At age 11, she signed a development deal with producer Damon Dash and began working on material. In 2011, Villegas gained wide exposure opening for Justin Bieber on his My World Tour.
