In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting around the campfire by the lake listening to my family play music together on their land in Tennessee. My uncle played fiddle and my dad and cousin picked guitars, my aunt singing. Still feels sacred to this day.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alabama Shakes, Sound & Color The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland Willie Nelson, Red Headed Stranger All these albums are perfect from start to ending and they go so many places... just when you think the journey is over, there's more! You can listen to them infinitely and still get goosebumps. They grow old with you.

Tell us why you chose this song. “One Sweet Day” I wrote this song for my grandma who was in assisted living at the time. When I tried to played it for her she insisted I perform it for everybody. She taught me to share my gift and appreciate the wisdom of our elders all at once.
