Artist Biography
Denmark's Emilie Mølsted (aka JADA) is an electronic pop producer and singer known for her icy, atmospheric sound. She first came to the public's attention with the 2017 single "Sure."
Born in 1993 in København, Denmark, Mølsted was raised in a creative household where she was introduced to music by her mother, Tippe Mølsted, a folksinger, actress, and storyteller. Growing up, Emilie performed alongside her mother and sisters, working often with the cross-cultural multidisciplinary theater collective the Bridge of Winds (Vindenes Bro). Over the years, she developed an interest in electronic production and in 2017 issued "Sure," her debut single under the stage name JADA. A second single, "Keep Cool," arrived the following year. ~ Matt Collar
