In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The first time I ever sang in front of anyone was at an open mic in Otley, West Yorkshire. I sang one cover by Steve Earle. The high I got from it hit home and I knew immediately I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? “Too Many Things”
Probably my best written song so far. It feels quite mundane and cheerful but it came from quite a dark place. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Probably my greatest musical memory is travelling to Kathmandu with my band Dallahan and performing at a festival there. We collaborated with local folk heroes Kutumba and I don't think it's been beaten as my most treasured musical memory. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to tour the world and keep making albums for the rest of my life!
