Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When we decided to record some original tunes to give as Christmas gifts for friends and family, we enlisted Schlesinger to play bass—and Ivy was born.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Babybird, Ugly Beautiful Prefab Sprout, Steve McQueen Remastered Stephen Duffy, Music In Colors (feat. Nigel Kennedy) Prefab Sprout (Steve McQueen) It's pop sophistication - lyrical genius - at its highest. Stephan Duffy (Music in Colors) This set the bar for our own production. Babybird (Ugly Beautiful) It's essential if you care about good pop songwriting.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Say You Will” Our lead single “Say You Will,” is an oceanic synth-pop song built from a 2009 demo where late Adam Schlesinger played bass and keyboard. This song is so special to us because it features Adam, our beloved bandmate who passed away in 2020.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our most memorable memory was when we were rummaging through IVY's storage locker, and came across dozens of unfinished songs featuring Adam. With the blessing of his family, we finished them to create our new album Traces of You, out September 5th.
