Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Easily falling asleep to old folk music as a kid. Every night my parents would put on this massive playlist of old folk music. I know that I still mainly make Hip Hop but I'll never not have a soft spot for folk music and folk musicians.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J Dilla, Donuts Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Slauson Malone 1, A Quiet Farwell, 2016–2018 (Crater Speak) Each of these turned me into the artist I am today.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dreaming in the Key of Green/Larson” This song took SUCH a long time to make. From figuring out how the samples were gonna be flipped, the drums, the beat switch, transitions, all of it- it was weeks of work that culminated into one of the best produced songs on 2006.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably the first full album I released under this name. Seeing how much everybody loved 2006 was a genuinely euphoric experience.
