In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I visited Punjab at a very young age. Using an old Nokia phone I found laying around, I downloaded songs and sang along to them whenever we were in the car. I remember someone saying "oh he is definitely going to be a singer one day", and here I am.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (Bonus Track Version) Drake, For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition Ikky, Karan Aujla, Four You - EP These albums have inspired me to find a sound of my own. The unique beat selection heard in 50 Cent's album motivated me to do the same. Drake and Aujla's lyrical ability never ceases to amaze me, and I aspire to reach the same level one day.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Piece” Although this song is very mellow, it holds a special place in my heart as I poured my raw emotions into this track. When writing Piece, I got to explore all of the memories and moments that lead up to me being able to create my own music today.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments I have is creating my first song "Faraar." The journeys of taking the train to the studio, doing redo's of certain vocals, travelling in the heat, and encountering interesting characters will always stay a part of me
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of the things on my bucket list is getting Calgary recognized. A lot of artists from my city have came and went. I want to be the first that gets recognized and is here to stay. I want people to look at us and say "there is talent in Calgary."
