In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember walking into a crystal shop with my mum, the space was filled with smoke from burning incense, and the sounds of flutes and wood chimes. I was immersed into another world, it looked like and sounded like a city rainforest.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Live Sault, Untitled (Black Is) Solange, When I Get Home These albums have inspired me to think positively about the creative process. I've felt empowered to channel my own source of creativity and silence the insecurities that can sometimes become so loud that they drown out my essence.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being with my friends and driving around to play at different festivals over summertime. Being silly, making jokes under the glow of sunshine and laughing non stop.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To continuously be in the right place to make good art with people I love, to tour in Japan and the US, to get better at performing solo, and to produce my own music.
