Artist Biography
The contemplative electronic pop of IDER is highlighted by the dual lead vocals of songwriters Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville, who fall in and out of unison and harmonies. A spacious sound and melancholy tone was introduced on the single "Sorry" in 2016 and helped to define their debut LP, 2019's Emotional Education. IDER's third album, 2025's Dann Hume-produced Late to the World, was a more urgent release that mixed in elements of moody dance-rock.
