In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Though it was only a hobby for him, I always remember my grandfather being able to learn instruments and play songs by ear. He even would bring over his accordion from time to time and show us how to play it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aaliyah, One In A Million Nas, Illmatic Nirvana, Nevermind Illmatic because there hasn't been another album in this genre to replicate the feeling it gave me listening to it for the first time and 'til today even. Nevermind, for obvious reasons, another once a generation album. One in A Million truly was.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cannibal” I have always been on the more alternative side of my genre, but never truly made an all "rock" or alternative song before this so I had been skeptical about even releasing it. Thankfully I did and it became one of my more highly celebrated singles.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The greatest time in my career was when I was traveling overseas performing and creating music. Meeting likeminded people and sharing the passion and joy was truly an unmatched feeling.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? For me, there always is. If you aren't trying to become more than what you currently are or try new and interesting things, then it's just not in you. It's what makes us human though I believe. Never lose that sense of wonder.
