Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A musical memory that was a pivotal moment in my life was hearing the song BIPP by none other than the legendary SOPHIE. I was five years old when I heard it, and it was also the reason why I taught myself how to play the piano. Beautiful stuff.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Michael, Faith (Deluxe Edition) 2010 Remastered Version SOPHIE, Product The Weeknd, Trilogy All three of these albums were and still remain my most IMPORTANT albums. The boundary-excelling PRODUCT, the dark and downright disturbing Trilogy by Abel, and the emotional crooning and heartache of Faith really changed me as an artist.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Alive” This song I wrote after a really traumatic experience in my life. This song was like a wake-up call for me to really live my life again after I almost lost it. This song is definitely one of my most important songs, as it is a song of comfort for me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with Julian Stone was truly a career highlight for me, and it happened so quickly that it didn't even feel real. And the way it came together worked out really well, or I'm just writing this at four in the morning. ;)
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still have a lot of things on my bucket list, in terms of my music career. I feel like since I am in such an early part of my career, I always keep adding things to the list. But I'd probably say that I would LOVE to work with Caroline Polacheck.
