Humanist is the dynamic U.K.-based collaborative brainchild of ex-Lyca Sleep and Exit Calm guitarist Rob Marshall, who builds upon a radio-friendly, industrial rock template and adds touches of post-punk, synth pop, and folk. Along with a famous cast of guest artists -- including Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan, Mark Gardener of Ride, Ron Sexsmith, and Jim Jones -- the project made its debut with 2020's Humanist. Four years later, Marshall and friends returned with 2024's On the Edge of a Lost and Lonely World.
