Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our earliest musical memory was the very first time we all connected — the HUE SOUND Camp in 2023. We tapped Phoelix, Mad Keys, and Paris Price to be apart of an experience that was curated to support independent artists. The rest is now history.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory Dreamville, J. Cole, Revenge of the Dreamers III Various Artists, Kanye West Presents: Good Music - Cruel Summer All projects by collectives of artists that came together and made magic.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “REAL (feat. Mad Keys)” ‘REAL’ is special because it was created spontaneously in a side-room in the studio while we were shooting content in the main room. The energy between the artists cooking up in the smallest corner of the studio was ethereal.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We are a collective of Black creators that came together to put our best foot forward — together. This is a completely independent operation that involves us all putting up our own funds and resources to create something to believe in.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We’re looking forward to expanding our collective and our artist services platform to partner with more artists + brands that are aligned with our vision, and are also excited about co-creating the future of music.
