What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? HAIM, Women In Music Pt. III Olivia Dean, Messy Ruston Kelly, The Weakness While drastically different albums, I think the through line is the soulful nature and groove of most of their songs that make me feel nostalgic. Being very lyrically driven, I feel these artist do a beautiful job of painting a vivid picture.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “If I Don't” If I Don't was the first written on my EP The Way Out. Writing it was so therapeutic. I'll never forget the magic in the studio that day. It was the first time I felt like my emotions were accurately depicted sonically & lyrically.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the chance to compete on Season 7 of The Masked Singer as The Ringmaster and placed as the runner up. It was such a cool experience and reminded me why I love performing so much. I felt so lucky to go that far and be on a platform like that.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It's an absolute dream of mine to play The Greek in Los Angeles. I once saw Sara Barielles (an inspiration of mine) perform there and bawled my eyes out. It was a magical venue that, while quite large and outdoors, also felt so intimate.
