Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I auditioned for my high school talent show when I was around 14 and was rejected. It was the first time I had ever sang in front of anyone and the hardest "no" to receive. I was sad for a bit and then thought "F that no. I wanna do this forever"
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Christina Aguilera, Stripped Justin Timberlake, FutureSex/LoveSounds Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Stripped inspired me to find my voice—no skips! FutureSex/LoveSounds is near perfect and the production is absolutely insane. The Best of Sade heals my soul anywhere, any time—like a home I can always return to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I did a show in my hometown and when I started singing "Lonely" people in the crowd sang along and it completely shocked me. The emotion that took over my body was overwhelming. I was holding back some SERIOUS TEARS
