British singer/songwriter Harry Pane emerged in 2016 with a sound that melded contemporary indie folk with the tone of icons like John Martyn and Christy Moore, both of whom he counts as influences. Pane cut his teeth on the London folk circuit, eventually making his way to stages at Glastonbury and, in the U.S., SXSW. After receiving a development fund from Island Records, the Walthamstow native delivered his debut single, the soulful and moody "Changing." A pair of follow-up singles, "Fletcher Bay" and "The Wild Winds," arrived in 2017. ~ Timothy Monger
