In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad came home from work one Friday and put Alright by Supergrass on at full volume and I knee-slid around the kitchen to it. They’ve been my favourite band ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Supergrass, In It For the Money Limited Edition The Smiths, The Queen Is Dead The Strokes, Is This It I don’t skip a track on any of these albums. The Strokes for the minimalist approach & down to earth lyricism. The Smiths for the guitar lines & poetic beauty and the Supergrass album is probably the strongest first side of any record I like.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the first Community festival was insane. My old band played the main stage early but the turn out was insane. Close to 10,000 people all listening to our music and my family came down which was an amazing experience to share with them.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much!! I’d love to release an album - having a physical copy of it on vinyl or cd would just be such an amazing achievement. I’d love to travel more with music especially touring outside the UK. Plus selling out a big Manchester venue!
