Artist Biography
Vocalist Murray Matravers formed the easygoing British hip-hop troupe hard life (formerly known as easy life) in 2017 with his sax- and bass-playing classmate Sam Hewitt.
∙ The band signed to a major label less than a year after forming and released their 2018 debut EP, Creature Habits.
∙ hard life collaborated with burgeoning British indie star Arlo Parks on the 2019 single “Sangria.”
∙ Their 2020 mixtape, Junk Food, debuted in the top 10 on four separate UK charts.
∙ The band won Best New British Act at the 2020 NME Awards.
