A runner-up on the 2014 season of Rising Star Indonesia, Hanin Dhiya turned heads with her impressive vocals tackling complex Celine Dion tunes aged only 13. Her performances were no fluke; the prodigious Bogor native quickly built a repertoire of her own with piano ballads like 2014’s “Yang Terbaik” and expansive, orchestral torch songs like “Bintang Kehidupan”, which featured on her multi-platinum 2018 debut Cerita Hanin Dhiya. With her versatile vocals capable of whispered vulnerability one moment and lung-busting defiance the next, every rendition packs a compelling, emotive punch.
