Artist Biography
As a solo artist, Gwenno Saunders concocts dream-like music that intersects somewhere between subtle electro pop and sweetly chiming indie pop, with her strong vocals the cherry on top. The one-time member of girl group-loving Pipettes cultivates a more serious persona for her own work, for example reviving the Cornish language she proudly remains fluent in (on 2018's Le Kov), and delving deeply into the concepts and emotions surrounding motherhood on 2022's Tresor.
