Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have been blessed with the opportunity to share stages with some of the most legendary artists, most notably Patti LaBelle. She was so sweet and approachable and it was a welcomed surprise!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, The Best of Aretha Franklin Erykah Badu, Baduizm Gwen Yvette, Love, Dreams & Visions Self explanatory on my album, its my first child. Baduizm was the backdrop to a period of time in my life when I was happy, or at least naive enough to think so. The Queen of Soul is my favorite artist of all time, so I love her greatest hits!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mood Swings” This was one of the first songs that I gave a real birdseye view into my personality...idk how well people appreciated the view, but it was genuine!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Patti LaBelle! She was very welcoming and her vibe was sooo dope!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to travel around the world and perform!!!
