Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Life-long friends Andrew Gower and Webbo (James Webster) have been writing music together since they were 15yrs old. With Gower on vocals and Webbo on guitar they formed GUSTAFFSON in 2012 as a home for their songwriting.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? I Am Kloot, Sky At Night The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) The Verve, Urban Hymns Three albums written by songwriters at the top of their game. They emphasise the art of storytelling and true collaboration in the studio. It's just a coincidence that they are all from the North England.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In April 2022 we recorded are very first EP with ELBOW’s Craig Potter at Blueprint Studios Manchester. The ‘THE JACARANDA’ was released on the 19th August 2022. We were announced as 'record of the week' on 'Guy Garvey’s Finest Hour' BBC Radio 6.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In April 2023 we returned to Blueprint Studios to record our new single 'Northern Baby' mixed by Craig Potter. In August 2023 we will release our next single 'Champagne Socialist' recorded live on the iconic Liverpool Empire Stage.
