In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For my first concert ever, my Dad took me to see Dick Dale at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. He plays his guitar upside down, and absolutely blares his amp & reverb to the max. I was incredible to see an 80 something year old man shredding.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Khruangbin, The Universe Smiles Upon You Tame Impala, Lonerism The Garden, The Life And Times Of A Paperclip I've been inspired by Tame Impala for as long as I've been making music because he proves that you can do it all yourself. The Garden reminds me that the best musicianship is being rather unserious, and Khruangbin embodies that surf rock swagger.
