About Goya Gumbani
Artist Biography
Transatlantic rapper Goya Gumbani has a free-flowing, poetic style influenced by jazz and neo-soul. Born in Brooklyn and based in South London, the producer and lyricist has been releasing solo material since 2018, and has collaborated with the likes of Pink Siifu, MIKE, Joy Orbison, and Yaya Bey. He began hosting a monthly radio show called Chicken Foot Soup on NTS Radio in 2022, and the full-length Face in the Storm, with frequent collaborator Kiina, was released the same year. Ghostly International issued Warlord of the Weejuns, an ambitious effort heavy on live instrumentation and collaborations, in 2025.
