Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At around 5, I watched my dad and friends play music. I got handed maracas and mimicked the rhythm. When someone said, “You did amazing,” it sparked my lifelong love for music and guitar.

Though many see it as a love song, I wrote it for my friend Nani La Que Canta’s daughter. A delayed session led me to finish it and telling her moved her deeply it captures the bittersweet pain of watching your child grow
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in my hometown for the first time after being away for years was unforgettable. My family—my mom and even my grandmother (at her first-ever concert)—saw me live for the first time. Their presence made the moment incredibly special.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There’s still so much to do. I toured in 2023 but never toured an album. Working with a big team feels like a fresh start. I dream of more collaborations and playing my own guitar solos. This is just the beginning.
