While flying from Cape Verde to Portugal, the lyrics, melody, and even the concept for the video came to me all at once. A true gift from God.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The day that I received my very first Gold Record"Nha Atriz Principal" – Lisbon, 2003! And the historic day, March 12, 2011 – when I brought the Cape Verde Music Awards (CVMA) to life in Praia, Cape Verde.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To make Funaná, a traditional Cape Verdean music and dance style, known around the world.
