Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first music I distinctly remember listening and vibing to was Lucky Dube's when I was 6. I'm not sure if it was on TV or radio, but those songs always sounded deeply familiar to me. This drove me to make the type of music I give out - relatable
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AKA, Touch My Blood Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi, Oliver Mutukudzi's Zindoenda My dad Is a big Bunny Wailer fan so from early I remember road trips with Bunny playing the whole way! Oliver Mtukudzi is my hometown's biggest legend, grew up on this. AKA's style and flare on TMB make this my favorite recent Southern African album.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Paulina” This song is so real and came from my heart. I usually take my time to write lyrics but for this one, i just went in and expressed myself to the mic without thinking too much about it!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment (moments!) in my career is when I get messages from fans about how they relate to my music. That gives me more vigor to tell my stories so that other people can understand their own stories better
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to sell out a stadium one day! That would top it all, working with one of my favourite artists is up there as well
