The recipient of numerous awards and grants, he continues to tour extensively with his Living Time Orchestra, as well serving on the faculty of the New England Conservatory.
George Russell has also released music as a member of George Russell Sextet, George Russell and His Orchestra, and George Russell's New York Big Band.
