Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory career wise - I remember going to see Motor City Drum Ensemble in 2015 and was absolutely blown away. It was the perfect blend of house, techno, and disco, and really impacted the sound I wanted to go for as an artist.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) My first real love in music was hip hop. The whole G-Funk era has definitely had an effect on my DJ sets and production. For me, Doggystyle is the perfect example. As for 36 Chambers and MMLP, I think they explain themselves. Absolutely iconic albums
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lalo's Theme Song (Extended Mix)” "Lalo's Theme Song" is a record I'm incredibly proud of. I worked with some really great people to get that one out there, and even spent a day at Abbey Road Studios getting it mastered. The whole process of that release was just amazing.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to headline at Electric Picnic in Ireland is definitely one of my favourites. I had been going to that festival for years, so get to close off the Heineken Dance Stage on the Saturday night to about 6,000 people is something I'll never forget
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's some artists I'd really love to work with. I'm a huge Kerri Chandler fan, so to get to work with him directly in some way would be a dream come true.
