Artist Biography
A bishop, published author, and contemporary Christian recording artist, George Davis also leads Impact Church of Jacksonville, Florida, beside his wife April. The Davises have been based in Florida since 1996, when they moved from their native Detroit, Michigan. Following the relocation, George Davis has not only worked in Jacksonville but has gone on to oversee churches in other parts of Florida, as well as in Georgia, Virginia, and even Peru. In 2014, Davis released his first album, the intimate and upbeat Captured by Your Love, through the Davash Music label. He sought guest appearances from the likes of Uncle Reese, Kenneth Reese, Gail Holmes, and Choyce. ~ Andy Kellman
