In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is being a child and seeing my mum sing and dance on stage. She was the artistic director of a French cabaret, and sang her heart out to Liza Minnelli and Shirley MacLaine songs. Mum really was a true entertainer!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Air, Moon Safari Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope (Deluxe Edition) Snarky Puppy, We Like It Here Tomorrow's answers might be completely different, I feel I have a very eclectic musical taste as my mum used all types of really varied songs for her shows. Today it feels like these 3 albums are it, not a single skip needed & most moods catered for!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tonight Was Not the One” My baby! My first ever song written, produced and released on my own. I even directed the music video which I'm very proud of. If I could I'd do it all differently, but that's a sign that I've learned & grown a lot since - so I'll never take it down!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career this far is singing my first ever solo, original set at Ram Jam Records in Kingston. It was the first ever time that I performed songs I'd written myself and it felt like a huge and exciting achievement!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to do it all! I want to continue writing for myself and other amazing artists, become a better producer, get a band on tour & get sync placements so you can hear my bangers on your favourite TV shows... There isn't much I'm not interested in!
