Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad had this little crusty boombox in his workshop back home in Arkansas. I can remember anything from CCR to AC/DC to John Denver coming out of that thing when I'd walk down to see him. That man could fix anything, everyone called him MacGyver.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction Kings of Leon, Only By the Night NEEDTOBREATHE, The Reckoning GnR: Found 'em when at 15. Immediately wanted a leather jacket + cowboy boots. We captured exactly what I was hearing in my head in the studio for those lyrics. I always feel the connection live at shows.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to put out Lawless...it's been such a journey for me to land on a collection of songs that lyrically and sonically fit where I'm at in life. It's unbridled. It's authentic and completely me. And to find that in this business is a rare thing
