In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first memories as a musician were playing cello in elementary school. My parents made me pick an instrument in 2nd grade, and I wanted to play sax, but you had to be in 3rd grade or older. It all worked out though cause nothing beats the cello!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glass Animals, Zaba Neil Young, Harvest ODESZA, In Return Zaba is the album that made me want to make music. In Return expanded my mind to the possibilities of sound. Harvest was recorded in my hometown and reminds me of the deep musical tradition I'm a part of in Topanga.

Lazy Daze)” Flat Tire was written about my friend Zach (Lazy Daze) popping his tire at my studio. It was a s****y situation, but the song is about rolling with the punches, finding the humor in life, and how art helps us deal with setbacks, small and large.
