Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was a kid, home sick from school. I was bored with all the daytime 90's TV, so I ventured into the basement and I found my dad's electric guitar. I spent the afternoon cleaning it, and then he bought me a guitar of my own a few weeks later.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Folds Five, The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner Fountains of Wayne, Welcome Interstate Managers Motion City Soundtrack, I Am the Movie These albums came out right as I leaving high school. All three are full of genuinely touching (and funny!) songs that taught me so much about lyrical precision (and also the importance of being myself!)

Tell us why you chose this song. “Active Protagonist (Making Changes) (Worktape)” I wrote this song during a period of my life where a lot of things were changing. I spent a long time being passive when things changed around me, but I wanted to shift that pattern. This song helped me take control of my narrative.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? After spending years as the vocalist for a power-pop band, Francy Planet represents a new chapter in my musical journey as I step out on my own. I'm approaching it with excitement and curiosity!
