Beginning life as the jokey cover act Fozzy Osbourne, heavy-metal band Fozzy hired pro wrestler Chris Jericho as its frontman—under the pseudonym Mongoose McQueen—in 2000.
∙ Fozzy’s third album, 2005’s All That Remains, featured original songs, not to mention such musical guests as Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde and Creed’s Mark Tremonti.
∙ The single “Enemy” was chosen as the theme song for WWE’s 2005 No Way Out event.
∙ In 2012, Sin and Bones premiered at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and was their first album to make Billboard’s Pop chart.
∙ Jericho used their 2014 single “One Crazed Anarchist” as his wrestling theme song.
∙ Fozzy’s 2017 song “Judas” was a worldwide hit that racked up more than 30 million views.
∙ Rapper Hyro the Hero cowrote and appeared on the track “Three Days in Jail” from Fozzy’s 2017 album, Judas.
