A British-born/Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter with a penchant for rootsy, alternative country-infused balladry with a psychedelic twist, Findlay Brown emerged in 2007 with the bucolic Separated by the Sea. He added elements of minimalist and African music to his sonic repertoire on the acclaimed Slow Light (2015) and Not Everything Beautiful Is Good (2018), and dusty '70s folk and cinematic chamber pop on 2021's Being Young Is Getting Old.
