Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first album I really listened to as a kid was Michael Jackson’s “HIStory: Past, Present and Future”. I remember our old sound monitor system and dancing in front of it to various tracks from the legend himself.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cleo Sol, Mother Drake, Honestly, Nevermind Steve Lacy, The Lo-Fis I love when artists experiment with their style like Drake’s house album. I love the soulful vibes of Cleo Sol, especially her album Mother. The Lo-Fis by Steve Lacy inspired me to experiment creatively with my sound, helping me develop as an artist.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No 925” This song means a lot to me and here’s why: I produced the original beat for a rapper, who cancelled the studio session on me, so I decided to continue the idea on my own. It was recognized by a big radio and it’ll be my first official music video.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I posted a funny 5 second video featuring my song “Right Here, Right Now”, not thinking much of it, and today it has surpassed 10 million views. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I asked Gil Glaze, a successful DJ and producer from Switzerland, where his best performances have been. He responded with Australia, where he toured with The Chainsmokers. Touring Australia has been on my bucket list ever since.
