In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As I can recall, one of my earliest musical memories was playing my grandma's Super Nintendo and really enjoying those old Nintendo soundtracks. I have been told you can still hear that influence in the music I make now.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? All That Remains, The Fall of Ideals Mat Zo, Damage Control (Bonus Track Version) Owl City, Maybe I'm Dreaming In no particular order, Damage Control showed me how innovative electronic music could be. The Fall of Ideals powerfully resonates with the frustrations and longings of the universe. Maybe I'm Dreaming always reminds me of being a kid again.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Crash” This may be my favorite song that I've made thus far, because I love how it climbs to the climactic second drop. Just before, all melody disappears and it sounds despairing until it drops into that soaring section. I love redemptive arcs in songs.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I do not have much of a musical career, so my memorable moments are always breakthroughs in the composition of songs. There are times where I can't figure out how I want something to land for months, but when I do figure it out, it feels glorious!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The most imminent item on my artistic bucket list is to produce and release my own EP. Hopefully I can make that happen soon! I am just so bad at finishing songs, much less many songs at once.
