Delivering a heady fusion of punk rock buzz and jangle pop melodies, with a dash of shoegaze-ish noise for seasoning, Ex-Vöid are a British band whose music is sweet, rough, and satisfying. Founded by former members of Joanna Gruesome, Ex-Vöid's 2018 debut single leaned into the punk side of their formula, and their first full-length album, 2022's Bigger Than Before, added a touch of studio polish without diluting the punch of their attack. Their second LP, 2025's In Love Again, doubled down on the catchy tunes and vocal harmonies, while the guitars remained crunchy as ever.
