In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is hammering away at the keys of an old, out-of-tune, upright piano that lived on the lower level of my childhood home. I used to sit on the bench and just noodle on it for hours and hours.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, Music Has the Right to Children Flying Lotus, Cosmogramma Radiohead, Kid A Radiohead's "Kid A" had a profound impact on the way I think about putting albums together. "Cosmogramma" by Flying Lotus expanded my sonic horizons beyond what I thought was possible. BoC's "MHTRTC" taught me how to create an atmosphere with music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Coma” "COMA" is a perfect showcase of the hallmarks of my style of production & the synthesis of my musical influences. At my artistic core, surrounded by those dreamy & surreal atmospheres, you'll hear the whispers of those who inspired me profoundly.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was the release of my 2016 album Conceptual Void™. I uploaded the album on SoundCloud, and it was received better than I could have imagined. To this day, people tell me how much it means to them.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A few things on my bucket list as an artist are 1) release music with Brainfeeder Records and collaborate with many artists on the roster, 2) work on scoring a feature film, 3) collaborate with Thom Yorke, and 4) perform my music around the world.
