In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music is something that has always been apart of my life. One specific memory that I have is watching my Dad play guitar for the first time. I was fascinated and I knew right then and there it was something I wanted to pursue.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jimi Hendrix, Band of Gypsys (50th Anniversary / Live) Pink Floyd, Animals Skinshape, Life & Love Growing up I had a wide range of genres/artists that I listened to. These three albums had the biggest impact on myself as a creative. They continue to influence the music that I make to this day.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “One Bedroom” Lyrically, this is probably my favorite song that I’ve written so far. Living in Chicago, the winters here are long and harsh so it’s very easy to catch the winter blues. During the writing process I was able to capture a lot of those feelings.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments that I’ve experienced so far was selling out my favorite live music venue in my hometown. Feeling the energy in a packed venue was a surreal experience. It’s moments like those that keep me moving as an artist
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? With it being early on in my career, there are many things I would like to accomplish as an artist. I would love to go on tour eventually, collaborate with artists that influenced me, and record a project at Electric Lady Studios.
